At 5:30pm on Wednesday, March 18, on the 3rd floor of City Hall, the Saint Paul City Council will hold a public hearing and vote on the Saint Paul Bikeways Plan. We urge all bicyclists to attend and show their support to the Council. There is major security at City Hall, so don’t try to bring in any bike tools or large metal objects. In the past, security has confiscated or “held” bike helmets so it’s probably a good idea to lock your helmet to your bike and not try to bring it inside. If the plan passes, there will be an after-party at Amsterdam Bar (on the corner of 6th and Wabasha). Turn out early, it will be the first thing on the Council’s agenda.
