On Arlington Ave in the Greater East Side, the road will be resurfaced and sharrows will be added. (This stretch of Arlington has low traffic.) Bumpouts will also be installed at a number of locations, including at the Bruce Vento Regional Trail crossing. pic.twitter.com/jionWISe2x

To the west on Arlington Ave in the North End, bike lanes will be installed to complete the lanes installed Rice-Jackson last year. These will link Wheelock Pkwy and neighborhoods in-between to the Gateway State Trail. pic.twitter.com/YwDhRfMWFn

Also in the North End, the city plans to complete the Grand Round trail along Wheelock Pkwy. This includes some of the trail scheduled for last year. It is not unlikely that construction on this will stretch into 2020. pic.twitter.com/Mh9KkxjNvX

Ramsey County is also planning a 4-3 lane conversion of Larpenteur Ave in the North End, including bike lanes. Details TBD. Meeting on Tuesday 4/30 at 6:30 at the Community School of Excellence on Larpenteur. pic.twitter.com/gYnwwzEGJZ

At Como Park, the city will install bike lanes to close a small but significant gap between the bike lanes on Como Ave and the Grand Round trail on Wheelock Pkwy. pic.twitter.com/LO4rxma8ZU

In the Midway, the city has already made major improvements to the legacy (pre-Bike Plan) bikeway on Pascal St. These include sharrows north of University, and wide buffered lanes south to Interstate 94. pic.twitter.com/ncNm0cWQ5h

In Union Park, the city will be making some improvements to the existing bikeway on Prior Ave as part of a repaving project. They will also be adding (probably buffered) bike lanes on Fairview Ave between University and Marshall. pic.twitter.com/W6blWDZj0H

On Summit Ave, which is the most used bikeway in Saint Paul, the city plans to "widen or buffer" the existing bike lanes. This is where Alan Grahn was killed last year, and advocates have long argued that these lanes should be improved. pic.twitter.com/y2JPNOTgeZ

On Cleveland Ave, the city is planning to add sharrows from Yorkshire to Mississippi River Blvd. Community members including @natehoodstp and @BLongStPaul are advocating to upgrade these to full bike lanes to connect to existing bike lanes on Cleveland to the north. pic.twitter.com/zSIJLHGm4P

Down in Lilydale, there are plans to close the annoying gap between the Lilydale Trail and the Big Rivers Regional Trail. pic.twitter.com/botUMTmSO5

The Robert Piram Regional Trail from Harriet Island to South St. Paul is also moving forward this year. Expect construction to last into 2021. pic.twitter.com/ZXdjgrciZ0

West Side cyclists can look forward to new bike lanes on Annapolis St from Cherokee Heights Blvd to Smith Ave. There are tentative plans to reconstruct Annapolis east of here in a few years. pic.twitter.com/oVGkfOpHWV

In Summit-U, a short section of bike lanes will be installed on Marshall Ave, including a contraflow bike lane (car traffic is westbound only). This will connect the existing bikeway on Western Ave to the lanes on Summit Ave/John Ireland Blvd. pic.twitter.com/bAUQvkVaPF

In Railroad Island, Ramsey County will connect the current short and disconnected stretches of bike lanes on Payne Ave from E 7th/Bruce Vento Regional Trail to Edgerton St. pic.twitter.com/RLeiJfhklS

The Indian Mounds Trail will be resurfaced from Commercial St to Etna. This will generally bring the trail up to modern standards, though some of the side trails along the corridor will be removed out of sensitivity to tribal concerns. pic.twitter.com/J8vZcwvXto

In Battle Creek, Ramsey County will be adding bike lanes along White Bear Ave between the bike lanes on Upper Afton and planned lanes on Suburban. pic.twitter.com/VUMCZinMgI

In Beaver Lake, the long-promised Ruth-Furness connection will be constructed on Hazel, Case, Algonquin, and Ruth. These were approved in 2017 as part of the Stillwater Ave bike lanes project, but funding was not available until now. pic.twitter.com/MmHdeCVPM7

Finally, the Margaret St Bike Boulevard will be completed this year, including a new trail along the west side of McKnight. Some elements, including the closure at Johnson Pkwy and a traffic circle at Atlantic, were completed last year. pic.twitter.com/U2v96ev7Gb

That's all that is currently planned for this year, but it is possible some projects may be added or dropped as the year goes on. We're excited to see this long list of new and improved projects this year, and we can't wait to get out and ride them!
